Festival lines move in bursts: quiet during a set, then everyone at once at the break. We bring multiple presses, a deep XS–4XL size run and a crew that works the rush.
Outdoors, Raleigh summers are hot and humid. The station needs shade and cover, blanks stay boxed until they're pressed, and finished shirts go on a rack. We set up at venues like Coastal Credit Union Music Park and handle power, cover and flow.
What on-site event printing needs at a Raleigh festival
Raleigh's outdoor calendar leans on spring and fall, when the humidity backs off and an afternoon on the lawn is actually pleasant. Summer dates still work for live t-shirt printing. They just get the full shade build and a plan for the afternoon thunderstorms that are common here in July. Each station takes a 10×10 ft square and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. An open field at Dorothea Dix Park won't have either, so the generator spot goes on the site map before our freight leaves Fullerton. At Red Hat Amphitheater or Coastal Credit Union Music Park we'd want a concourse spot near the merch tables, with power confirmed through the venue's production office. Two minutes a shirt sounds slow until you see the headliner let out; keep it to two or three designs and two presses work through the rush steadily. A cap makes more sense than a tee at a sweaty August show, so a hat bar in Raleigh can run next to the shirts, and full-color festival art goes to live DTF printing.
- Throughput: each press paces up to 60 shirts an hour, and two presses clear 100+. See live screen printing.
- Power: two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station, from the venue or a generator.
- A short menu: one or two designs keep the line quick. Add a DTF name option if the art calls for it.
- Travel: the gear ships freight from Fullerton, the crew lands a day early, and travel is one fixed line.
