Downtown is where Raleigh's conventions and expos happen. The Raleigh Convention Center anchors it, Red Hat Amphitheater sits right beside it, and the hotels around Fayetteville Street carry the ballroom side of most shows.
For a Convention Center booth, the electrical is ordered through the venue and load-in runs on the marshalling schedule, so we confirm the dock time and drayage slot before the freight leaves Fullerton. Hotel ballrooms are simpler: a circuit catering isn't using and a freight elevator.
Stations that suit downtown
- Live screen printing: one show logo on hundreds of shirts across an expo day.
- Live DTF: names and departments for a sponsor lounge or a customer summit.
- Live hat bar: caps for a pre-show crowd or a hospitality suite.
- Promo & hard goods: printed totes attendees carry across the show floor.
Planning just outside downtown? We also plan events in Warehouse District, Glenwood South, North Hills and NC State & Centennial.
Each station needs about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. On the Convention Center floor, that power is part of the electrical order.
Show weeks tighten hotels and labor downtown, so six to ten weeks out is the comfortable window. Send the booth number or the hotel, the date and a headcount, and the itemized quote comes back within 24 hours.
