Six to ten weeks for a Raleigh date. Our presses come across the country from Fullerton by freight truck and the crew flies in a day ahead, so shipping and load-in scheduling set the calendar. Press time barely figures in.
What the lead time covers
- Freight: the station is packed and on a truck well before the dock date, so the plan has to be settled first.
- Art and blanks: art is final about a week out, and size counts lock around the same point. A headcount that keeps moving slows a job more than anything else.
- Convention Center windows: the marshalling slot and the electrical order at the Raleigh Convention Center get confirmed in writing, and they fill up during big show weeks.
- Hotels and labor: when a major show is in town, rooms, drayage and labor tighten across the Triangle at once. Booking around that week is the cheapest decision you can make.
Closer than six weeks?
Ask anyway. Simple art and standard blanks make a short run-up possible, and the answer depends on freight and stock that week, so we'll tell you within 24 hours. Send your date and headcount. If a booked date changes, two weeks' notice is what the freight needs.
