Guests watch a piece get made and walk away wearing it, usually about two minutes after they pick a size. Here's what goes into that at a Raleigh event, and most of it happens before the day.
Weeks before
You send the logo; we proof it and prep screens or transfers. We settle garments, sizes and which stations fit your schedule, and the whole kit ships freight from Fullerton.
On the day
- Load-in: presses, ink, blanks and tables arrive with a crew that landed the day before, and each station goes up in about 10×10 ft.
- Guests choose: a size, a garment, a design or a patch. Choosing is why they care about the piece.
- We print: each press paces up to 60 pieces an hour, and the two-press station clears 100+.
- They wear it: finished and still warm off the platen.
What the venue provides
About 10×10 ft per station, two dedicated 120V/20A circuits, a level floor and a queue path clear of doors. At the Raleigh Convention Center the power is ordered through the venue. More on venue requirements.
Picking a method
Volume favors screen printing; full color or short runs favor DTF; a hat bar or embroidery adds a premium build. Read how live printing works or tell us about your Raleigh event.
Raleigh planning notes
The Raleigh part of the plan
What changes in Raleigh is mostly logistics. The station crosses the country by freight, so the plan is settled weeks ahead, and a Convention Center load-in means a dock time and a drayage slot. A Warehouse District loft needs a door and a lift instead.
